Ramping Up
With thousands of young people and their supporters converging on Maryborough for Energy Breakthrough in November, up to 1000 volunteers are needed to keep the operation running smoothly.
Thanks to Community Bank Avoca, Maryborough and St Arnaud, extra sponsorship to support volunteers this year will see their training, uniforms and food supplied. You can sign up for the whole week, a few events or just for a few hours. Help make it the biggest and brightest EB ever!
The event runs from Wednesday 22 November to Sunday 26 November 2023.

START THE FLOW
GWM Water is continuing to consult with the community in the northern areas of Central Goldfields Shire regarding the extension of the Wimmera-Mallee pipeline. The non-drinking water is for agricultural and civic use, such as keeping our parks and gardens green over long dry summers and to provide water security for primary production.
You can submit an Expression of Interest in connection to your Central Goldfields property, helping to build the business case for the project across our region.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT – WHAT'S YOUR STORY?
Whether you use public transport every day or almost never, we want to hear from you!
Our transport connects us to jobs, study, vital services, friends, and family. But not everyone has a car or is able to drive.
The Central Goldfields Youth Council is asking community members to share their experiences of public transport in the Shire, to help build a picture of how and why our community needs public transport, so they can campaign for better options and services across our region. Everyone is invited to respond, even if you only walk or drive.
To share your story, please take a few minutes to fill out the survey online. The survey takes approximately 5 minutes to complete, and responses are anonymous unless you choose to include your contact details.
