This is underpinned by Council's 2020-2030 Waste Management Strategy(PDF, 4MB) .
Council provides kerbside collection of waste, recycling and optional green waste/kitchen organics in all townships in the Central Goldfields Shire.
Council also provides four transfer stations and a kerbside hard rubbish collection service for urban residents.

A bi-monthly kerbside hard rubbish collection service is offered to all urban areas of the Shire.

Burning of household wastes and hazardous materials can be harmful to the environment and your health. Community members living in residential areas are required to obtain a permit to burn from Council.
