The meeting will be held to consider the tender for the Central Goldfields Art Gallery redevelopment.

The agenda will be available today, Friday 3 December at: www.centralgoldfields.vic.gov.au/councilmeetings

Due to restrictions, residents will not be able to attend the meeting.

Outdoor Pool Season

Our three outdoor pools at Maryborough, Talbot and Dunolly will open – 25 degrees plus weather permitting – this Sunday, 5 December.

Previously we have communicated that the Maryborough Outdoor Pool would be closed for the summer period. Due to a project delay, the redevelopment is now scheduled to commence February, 2022.

Visitors to the Dunolly Outdoor Pool will be able to enjoy a new footpath in Market Street, which stretches from Bull Street to the pool. A new shade sail has also been installed. Both projects have been made possible thanks to the Federal Government’s Roads and Infrastructure Program.

For opening times and days, including prices, visit www.centralgoldfields.vic.gov.au/outdoorpools

Nb. All pools will only open when forecast temperature is 25˚ or over.

Thank you

A big thank you to Council’s immunisation team made up of Allison Lewington, Kerry Egan and Margaret Gallagher.

Together, they’ve administered 643 immunisations for our local year 7 and 10 high school students – which is a huge achievement given the challenges of the pandemic.

This has been carried out across 12 months and 8 sessions held at both Maryborough Education Centre and Highview College.

Slashing update

Council’s roadside slashing program continues with crews expected to finish at Talbot by the end of the week.
