2027 Community Awards

Each year Council presents Community Awards to individuals and groups within the Shire. 

The Central Goldfields Shire Community Awards celebrate the achievements and contributions made by outstanding members and groups in our community that inspire us through their efforts and make us proud to live in the Central Goldfields Shire.

Awards are presented in the following three categories:

• Citizen of the Year
• Young Citizen of the Year
• Community Event or Project of the Year

Our 2027 recipients will be announced at our Australia Day event in Maryborough on Tuesday 26 January commencing at 8.30am.
