During this period, it will be ‘business as usual’, however, to comply with our Election Period Policy and the Local Government Act 2020, there are restrictions on the kinds of decisions that can be made, and the information that we can communicate to the public. For example, we can't open community consultations. This is to ensure Council actions don't influence voting in the election.

The Central Goldfields Shire Council FReeZA program is part of the Victorian State Government funded FReeZA initiative that gives young people the opportunity to lead the planning and staging of live music and cultural events within their local community.
FReeZA events are fully supervised drug, alcohol, and smoke-free events and are open to young people between the ages of 12 and 25.
Central Goldfields FReeZA team 'Kids in the Kitchen' meet regularly to plan and stage live music and cultural events and are always looking for new members!
