During this period, it will be ‘business as usual’, however, to comply with our Election Period Policy and the Local Government Act 2020, there are restrictions on the kinds of decisions that can be made, and the information that we can communicate to the public. For example, we can't open community consultations. This is to ensure Council actions don't influence voting in the election.

There is one designated ‘Off-Leash Dog Park’ in the Central Goldfields Shire.
Dogs can meet other dogs and their owners can make new friends too. Remember to clean up after your dog and retain effective control of your animals for the safety of other park users.
The park is located on Cadle Street between Jack Pascoe Reserve and the Maryborough Wattle park netball courts in Carrick Street.
It features five acres of sprawling grassland and a small retention dam for pets to paddle in.
