EGG-SPECTED CLOSURES

Our Customer Service Centre, VicRoads, Maryborough Regional Library, Goldfields Family Centre and Depot/Pound will be closed from Good Friday, resuming normal hours from Tuesday 7 April.

Central Goldfields Art Gallery, Central Goldfields Visitor Centre and Carisbrook Transfer Station will close on Good Friday then resume normal hours. The next green waste collections are Friday 10 and 17 of April.

Please note changes to opening hours:

Transfer stations at Bealiba, Talbot and Dunolly return to a later opening from 9am to 1pm
Visitor Centre hours are temporarily 10am to 4pm

For urgent animal or Council infrastructure support, phone our Customer Service Centre on 5461 0610 for connection to our after-hours operator.

Our Draft Budget for 2026-27 is now available for the community to view and provide feedback. It identifies $3.2 million in savings to counter low revenue growth, rate capping and rising expenses.

Draft Customer Charter

The Draft Charter is a public-facing social contract that establishes transparent service goals.

It prioritises public safety while operating within resource constraints, distinguishing between requests for service and requests for information, noting that complex enquiries will be processed as resources allow.

Draft Domestic Animal Management Plan

Council has developed a draft Plan that aims to address issues raised by resident last year, while supporting a safe, respectful, and balanced community for both pet owners and non-pet owners.
