HAVE YOUR SAY: DRAFT PUBLIC LIGHTING STRATEGY
How safe do you feel after dark? Your experiences will shape our lighting plan.
Council is developing a new Public Lighting Strategy and wants to hear from residents about the places where lighting makes a difference — the streets you use, the areas that feel welcoming, and the spots that feel unsafe.
Your feedback will help guide a fair and sustainable approach to lighting across all towns.
The Draft Public Lighting Strategy is open for feedback until 5pm, Friday 19 June 2026.

REGISTER NOW FOR KINDER IN 2027
Registrations for three‑ and four‑year‑old kindergarten are open now until Friday 26 June, with one form covering all seven kindergartens across the Shire:
Families are reminded that the registration process is not first‑in, best‑dressed. There is no advantage to registering early in June or late in June - all applications are processed according to the Victorian Government’s priority of access guidelines.
