FLOOD STUDY COMMUNITY SESSION
Monday 22 June, 3pm–6pm
Carisbrook Flood Community Session 4
Hosted by the Carisbrook Flood Study Advisory Reference Group, this session forms part of updating the Carisbrook Flood Management Plan.
Watertech will present the modelled impacts of community-suggested mitigation measures, following on from Session 3.
This session is an opportunity to: review how waterways and mitigation options perform; understand impacts under a climate-change-driven rain event; and ask questions and provide feedback.
Presentations at 3.15pm and 5.30pm.

NAIDOC WEEK

JUNE COUNCIL MEETING
The June Council Meeting will be held next Wednesday 24 June at 6pm.

The meeting will be held in the upstairs Council Chamber at the Maryborough Town Hall on the corner of Clarendon and Neill streets.
The meeting is open to the community to attend and will also be livestreamed to our website at the website link above.
COMMUNITY GRANT INFO SESSIONS
$30,000 will be available as part our 2026-2027 Community Grants Program when it opens on 1 July to 29 July.
All potential applicants must attend a Community Grants Program Information Session and discuss their project with a Council officer prior to applying. The following sessions will be held at the Maryborough Community Hub Rooms 1 & 2:
- Today, Friday 19 June, 10 to 11.30am
- Monday 22 June, 5 to 6.30pm
- Tuesday 23 June, 1.30 to 3pm

ROUNDABOUT UPDATE
Despite the rain, the new roundabout on the corner of Nolan and Burns streets in Maryborough is on track for completion by the end of June - weather permitting.
The project is fully funded by the Victorian Government. All businesses along Nolan and Burns Street continue to remain open for business as usual during the project – please continue to support them.

ROAD RE-CONSTRUCTION – MARYBOROUGH
Road re-construction works on Burke Street Maryborough – between Tuaggra Street and Christian Street – will be carried out overnight on Sunday, 21 June between 7pm (Sunday) and 6am (Monday) and recommence Monday 22 June between 7pm (Monday) and 6am (Tuesday).
Burke Street will re-open to traffic during the day on Monday 22 June.
The works are funded by the Federal Government’s Roads to Recovery program and will be delivered by Centre State Asphalting.
The project is expected to take two nights to complete – weather permitting. Detours will be in place.
