Council has heard from members of our local business community that a decision by the Maryborough Castlemaine District Football Netball League to host their 2025 finals outside of Maryborough is having a significant economic impact.
This was not a Council decision.
Council will meet with the MCDFNL league board after the season to discuss options for 2026 finals returning to the iconic Princes Park, Maryborough venue.
