Goldfields Reservoir upgrade complete

The Goldfields Reservoir walking track re‑opened on Tuesday 12 May after upgrade works.

A section of the dam on the Derby Road side of the Reservoir was raised to stabilise the bank.

Rocks were added to the dam wall and the walking track was re‑gravelled. Seating will also be replaced in the coming weeks.

Raising the dam wall improves safety for community use and will help keep the structure strong and reliable for years to come.
