Goldfields Reservoir dam wall works

Our Operations team will commence upgrade works at Goldfields Reservoir tomorrow, Tuesday 24 March.

A section of the dam, on the Derby Road side of the Reservoir, will be raised to stabilise the bank.

This will involve adding rocks to the dam wall, re-gravelling the walking track and replacing the seating.

Making the dam wall higher will make it safer for community use and will keep the dam wall strong and reliable for years to come.

The works are happening now while water levels are low. Please note sections of the walking track will be closed at times over the next four wee

This project is part of the Victoria Government’s stabilisation and safety upgrades for dams across the state.
