Two significant rainfall events in August have caused significant damage.

Our Roads and Works crew are aware of the extensive damage across our road network and will work through a prioritised recovery process to address these issues.

Given the scale of the damage this work will take time. Our crews will continue to monitor road conditions and adjust signage as required.

Please drive carefully to the conditions and watch for debris or hazards on the road network.

If you see a traffic hazard, report it to our Customer Service team on 5461 0610 or lodge it online via www.centralgoldfields.vic.gov.au/reportaproblem

A list of current road closures is available here:

  • Fremantles Road, Betley
  • Middle Road, Eddington
  • Mullins Road, Eddington

Road closures remain in place only where conditions are considered unsafe or where repair works are required.  We ask all residents visitors to respect road closure signs and barriers, even if damage is not immediately visible.  These measures are in place to protect public safety and prevent further damage to road infrastructure.
