Council's Central Goldfields Visitor Information Centre is ready to help you.
Our Accredited Visitor Information Centre is located in Maryborough, with a team of passionate staff and volunteers on hand to assist you.
In the 2019-2020 financial year our Visitor information Centre team welcomed around 18,000 visitors to our region, with 145,000 annual day trip visitors and 65,000 choosing to stay overnight in the region.
Council's Visitor Services team has a wealth of knowledge about our region and will work with you to make sure you make your stay a memorable one.

Central Goldfields Visitor Centre
Location: To make way for the Maryborough Railway Station Activation Project, the Visitor Information Centre will close its doors at its current home at the Maryborough Railway Station from 5pm on Sunday 8 January 2023.
From 9am, Saturday 14 January 2023, you will find our Visitor Information Centre team located just down the road at 53 Burns Street, Maryborough. The Visitor Information Centre will be temporarily located here during the duration of the project.
Opening hours: Open seven days, 9am to 5pm every day except Good Friday and Christmas Day
