ENGAGEMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Road Management Plan – have your say

Did you know Council is the road authority for around 1,300 kilometres of roads? Of these, 39% are sealed, 48% are gravel and 13% are tracks. To support these roads we also have 79 bridges and 175 major culverts throughout the Shire. Every four years Council is required to update their Road Management Plan. The Plan sets the parameters by which Council will operate the road network over the next term of Council.

To help us develop an updated Draft Road Management Plan, we’re inviting residents to tell us what their top five issues are relating to local roads. You can view Council’s current Road Management Plan 2017, and provide feedback, by visiting www.engage.cgoldshire. vic.gov.au/roadmanagementplan

You can also contact Council’s Coordinator Strategic Asset Management David Hildebrand by emailing david.hildebrand@cgoldshire.vic.gov.au Feedback is required by 5pm, Friday 28 January, 2022
