Council has partnered with MDHS to open a pop-up COVID-19 testing clinic at Lake Victoria, Maryborough.
The pop-up clinic is open from 9am to 5pm, seven days. No appointment is needed.
Enter via Lake Road and exit onto Burns Street. Please enter slowly and look out for traffic, pedestrians, and clinic staff.

Council’s Australia Day Award nominations are now open until Friday 12 November.
Stage Two of the Derby Road beautification project will commence on Monday 8 November.
A new water saving irrigation system and 24 new Japanese Elm trees will be installed along the median strip, between Rinaldi Drive and Carramar Nursery.
The upgrade works are being delivered by Council’s Parks and Gardens team, funded as part of Council’s 2021/22 Budget and is part of our entry beautification program.
Council’s slashing program continues with crews now finished in the Dunolly, Timor and Bowenvale areas, in preparation of this year’s fire season.
One slasher is now active in the Majorca area while our second slasher is still operating in Bromley and will move towards Eddington and Carisbrook next week.

Does your community group need funding for a project or initiative?
The following funding is available:
$30,000 through this year’s Community Support Grants program.
In partnership with the Victorian Government, there is also $30,000 on offer as part of the CASI Community Recovery Grants program.
Applications for both programs close on Friday 19 November with recipients to be announced in December.
COMMUNITY ARTS EXHIBITION
Residents wishing to submit work for the 2021 Community Arts exhibition are required to drop artwork and entry form to the Central Goldfields Visitor Information Centre (at
Maryborough Railway Station) on Monday 8 November between 10am and 4pm.
