Road works update
Our Works team has been busy sealing sections of gravel roads that meet arterial roads.
These roads include George Cook Drive, Daisy Hill, Cobbs Road, Red Lion, and Peel Street, Talbot.
Council is also preparing to commence the unsealed roads maintenance program.
In order to grade an unsealed road, there must be a certain level of moisture present within the road to achieve compaction.
After an extremely dry period there is a major backlog of unsealed roads requiring maintenance.
Drivers must apply caution and drive to the conditions of the road.
