New Dunolly Library now open
Dunolly is now home to a dedicated library facility at 42 Market Street – the former police station building.
The new facility provides Dunolly and district residents with more resources, services, activities, longer opening hours, computer access, free Wi-Fi and additional children’s programming.
The facility replaces the visiting Outreach Van service and has been made possible thanks to $140,000 in funding from the State Government.
The Dunolly Library is open Tuesdays, 9am to 1pm and Thursdays, 1 to 5pm.
Positive Ageing Strategy – feedback thank you

Some of the themes of the feedback included:
Better advocacy on behalf of the community across a range of areas, including positive ageing
Greater investment and focus on assisting community to adjust to technology
More investment needed for service and support for people to age well

Contributions had been heard, understood and captured within the objectives of the Plan

Join us for a conversation in Carisbrook
Did you know that $6 million will be invested in infrastructure projects in the Carisbrook and district community in the coming 12 months?
Council will host a series of conversations to share information, and answer questions about local projects including – the Recreation Reserve upgrade, Carisbrook Levee (Stage 4) and Tullaroop Creek.
We’ll also be inviting your feedback on the Carisbrook Community Plan.
Due to the pandemic, providing feedback on the outcomes was stalled, and so we are inviting you to reconnect you to the project.
This will be a chance for the community to review the plan and further contribute to key priorities for Carisbrook.

Livestock on roads can cause great danger to motorists.
Just a friendly reminder, that if you own or provide agistment for livestock, you must set up and maintain adequate fencing so the animals you keep on your land cannot escape.
Penalties apply for wandering livestock under Council’s Local Law.
If you do see wandering stock on the road, please notify the landowner where possible. If it’s not possible to identify who the stock belongs to, please contact Council’s Compliance team on 5461 0610 to confirm the location of the stock. A Council Officer will be in attendance as soon as possible.
