$150,000 grant for Phillips Gardens

Central Goldfields Shire has received a $150,000 grant for the Phillips Gardens in Maryborough – thanks to the State Government Growing Victoria’s Botanic Gardens grants program.

The grant will see the existing irrigation system be upgraded to a central control system (Rainbird), with a master valve and flow meter, which will be more sustainable and will reach areas of the gardens not currently irrigated.

Dunolly dump point feedback

A partnership between Central Goldfields Shire Council and Dunolly Caravan Park could see a public dump point established for visitors and locals.

Public access to the facility would be via Maude Street.

You can leave feedback by contacting Council's Manager Community Engagement Kylie Long on 0428 906 347 or Kylie.Long@cgoldshire.vic.gov.au
