Maryborough Skate and Scooter Park - feedback invited

Maryborough will soon be home to a Skate and Scooter Park with works to commence in Spring with completion expected late 2021.

The new facility will be located along Lake Road, Maryborough, in the Princes Park precinct near Lake Victoria, the adventure playground and barbecue area.

The $643,260 project is made possible thanks to $250,000 in funding from the Victorian Government (Sports Recreation Victoria Local Sports Infrastructure Fund) as well as $395,000 from Council.

Community members are invited to view the final concept plans prepared by Grind Projects and provide feedback via the following ways:

Online information session: 

Two online information sessions will also be held on Wednesday 28 July for interested community members.

The sessions will feature a presentation by Darren White from Baseplate (Baseplate are an experienced skatepark design company who are working in association with Grind Projects), there will also be an opportunity to ask questions. 

Two sessions will be held:

  • 4pm to 5pm
  • 6pm to 7pm
