Regional Roads Victoria are building a new bridge over the Tuaggra main drain in Inkerman Street, Maryborough to increase capacity and improve safety.

Works will start from 31 May 2021 and run until late August 2021, weather permitting.

Inkerman Street will be closed off at the Napier Street roundabout during construction, however, local residents along this section of Inkerman Street will still have access to their homes during these works.

Construction will be carried out during the day and some weekend work may be required.

To maintain traffic flow during works, general traffic will be diverted away from this section of Inkerman Street along High Street, Karl Street, and Napier Street.

Heavy vehicles travelling along the Pyrenees Highway will need to take a separate detour.

Trucks, particularly B-doubles, are encouraged to use Maryborough-St Arnaud Road (Phelan Road), Gladstone Street, Tullaroop Road and Chaplins Road during works.
