Carisbrook residents are invited to have their say on the Tullaroop Creek Management Plan which aims to guide the long-term management of the creek.

The plan will cover Tullaroop Creek’s corridor of the Pyrenees Highway to the railway bridge, approximately 850 metres northwest of the highway.

Residents are invited to highlight and comment on specific parts of the creek and to express any thoughts, experiences, ideas or concerns.

An interactive map and survey are available at www.centralgoldfields.vic.gov.au/haveyoursay

Central Goldfields Shire Chief Administrator Noel Harvey said Tullaroop Creek is highly valued by the Carisbrook community.

“The Tullaroop Creek rightly holds a special place in the hearts of Carisbrook residents. It has beautiful walking tracks and plays an important role in the historic and identity to Carisbrook.

“I encourage all Carisbrook residents to jump online and let us know your thoughts about the Tullaroop Creek Management Plan. Your feedback will help us with the future management of the creek and the two adjacent public reserves, Bucknall and Bland.”

Feedback closes on Wednesday 9 September at 5pm.
