Applications for the 2020 Central Goldfields Shire Community Grants Program are now open.

$33,500 in funding is available in the 2020/21 financial year to provide assistance to community-based organisations to support programs and services which benefit the Central Goldfields Shire community. Grants are available for amounts above $500.

Central Goldfields Shire will present a community grant information session live on Council’s Facebook page on Wednesday 11 November at 3.30pm.

Community members interested in applying are encouraged to tune in and ask questions throughout the session.

The session will be presented by General Manager Community Wellbeing Martin Collins and Pandemic Recovery Community Development Officer James Rigby.

Central Goldfields Shire Chief Administrator Noel Harvey said it was a wonderful opportunity for community groups and clubs to re-boot their activities and start the new year with renewed energy.

“The good news is that the total amount available to community groups has increased this year which will mean many more groups will have the opportunity to access funds to support their groups in the process of recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.”
