Come and celebrate Australia Day at Station Domain in Maryborough.

Residents are invited to join us on Saturday 26 January at our Australia Day free, family friendly event.

A free breakfast and children’s activities will commence at 8.30am and official proceedings will start at 9.15am.

The celebrations will feature entertainment from the Maryborough City Brass Band and singers Nicole Fornal and Jaclyn Holland.

Central Goldfields Shire Chief Administrator Noel Harvey said it was a wonderful opportunity for the Central Goldfields Shire community to come together to celebrate our great nation.

“Join us as we welcome seven new Australian Citizens and announce our Australia Day Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year and Community Award of the Year awards.

“We’ll also be presenting medallions to all babies born in the Shire during 2018 and four-year-old children starting kindergarten in 2019 will be presented with a book.”
