The Victorian Government’s Healthy Heart of Victoria initiative has delivered outdoor exercise equipment to Dunolly and Talbot – and Carisbrook is next!

We're planning to install four pieces of exercise equipment at Market Reserve – along with a touch-free water fountain made possible thanks to Central Highlands Water.

We’re inviting the Carisbrook and district community to come along to a community information session to find out more about the project.

Join Council and Healthy Heart of Victoria representatives at Market Reserve on Wednesday 13 April from 10.30am to 11.30am and 5.30 to 6.30pm.

Registrations not necessary.

Can’t make the community information session?

Additional information is available at the links below, or you can contact Council’s Healthy Heart of Victoria Broker on 0437 627 950 or email Adam.Tarr@cgoldshire.vic.gov.au

Leg Press

Builds legs and glutes strength. The foot pad on the Leg Press allows users to alter the level of effort and muscles worked by changing their feet positions.

Aerobic Cycle

Develops cardiovascular fitness and co-ordination. This unit relies on users ‘spinning’ the pedals at a pace to increase heart rate.

Pull Downs

Promotes good posture, arm, shoulder and upper back strength. The level of effort can be increased by lifting one or both feet off the ground while performing the exercise.

Dexterity Builder

Designed for seniors and younger people with limited mobility, this unit aids in building and maintaining dexterity, co-ordination, and wrist and elbow mobility essential for everyday quality of life.
