Central Goldfields Shire 2021 Australia Day Awards
The National Australia Day Council together with the State and Territory Australia Day Councils and Committees administer Australia Day Awards on a state and national level.
The Central Goldfields Shire Council administers awards on a local level on behalf of the National Australia Day Council.
Each year Council presents Australia Day Awards to individuals and groups within the Shire.
The Central Goldfields Shire Australia Day Awards celebrate the achievements and contributions made by outstanding members and groups in our community that inspire us through their efforts and make us proud to live in the Central Goldfields Shire.

Nominations for 2021 Australia Day Awards will open on Wednesday 4 November and close 5pm on Monday 7 December, 2020

How to compile your nomination
Nominations must be submitted either online, or using the official Central Goldfields Shire Council Australia Day Awards 2021 Nomination Form.
Please provide all required information on the nomination form. Failure to provide complete information may result in the nomination not being considered.
Following the close of nominations, the Australia Day Awards Selection Panel will score nominations based on the Selection Criteria.
In the event that no nominations are received in any of the categories, the Australia Day Awards Selection Panel reserves the right to grant the award to a group, project/event or citizen of its choice.
Award recipients are announced on 26 January 2021. All nominees and nominators will be invited to attend the award announcements (subject to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions).
