Each year, Central Goldfields Shire Council participates in the Victorian Government’s state-wide Local Government Community Satisfaction Survey.

Residents and households may receive a telephone phone call from now until March from the independent market research agency, National Field Services asking a number of questions about different services Council provides. The survey is conducted by independent researchers, JWS Research.

The survey data provides Council with a local community perspective on Council’s performance in key areas which are important to our community,” Central Goldfields Shire Mayor Cr Chris Meddows-Taylor said.

“The Community Satisfaction Survey provides an insight into perceptions on how Council performed over the past year while also showing where Council should focus efforts to make improvements to meet changing community expectations,” he said.

“Importantly we have had feedback from previous participants that the survey took too long to complete and that some questions were less relevant to residents so we have made changes to simplify this while retaining the key measures to provide the transparent feedback Council needs.”

Details and individual responses are confidential. Only the overall results are shared with Central Goldfields Shire Council.
